What the bot does
Built for communities that get a lot of questions.
Whether you run a FiveM server, gaming community, modding project, shop support server or private team Discord: the bot helps you keep requests organized and keeps your team from losing tickets in chat.
🎫 Ticket panels for every topic
Create separate panels for support, reports, ban appeals, donations, factions or whatever your community needs. Each panel can have its own channel, category, texts and ticket types.
🧩 Dashboard instead of config files
Pick channels, categories and roles from dropdowns. No copy-pasting Discord IDs, no JSON editing, no restarting the whole setup just to change a role.
🔒 Private ticket channels
When someone opens a ticket, the bot creates a private channel for that user and the assigned team role. The issue description is posted directly inside the ticket.
📄 Transcripts that stay private
Closed tickets are saved as HTML transcripts and posted to your internal log channel. Users can also receive their own transcript by DM.
⭐ Reviews without drama
After closing a ticket, the user can rate the support from 1 to 5 stars and add a comment. Public review posts never include the private transcript.
⏱️ Auto-close with warnings
Inactive tickets can close automatically. The bot warns the user before that happens, and your team can disable auto-close for tickets that need more time.
🔔 Notify user button
If your team answered but the user is not checking the ticket, staff can send a quick DM notification with a link back to the ticket.
🌍 English and German
The website, dashboard and bot messages are built for English and German communities. Set the server language once and the bot follows it.
🛠️ Multi-server ready
One public bot can run on multiple Discord servers. Every server gets its own settings, panels, roles and ticket flow.
How it works
Invite, configure, post your panel — done.
The setup is made for server owners and admins, not developers. Add the bot, choose your server in the dashboard, select the channels and roles, then publish your ticket panel in Discord.
Add the bot
Invite MG Ticket Bot to a Discord server where you have permission to manage apps or server settings.
Open the dashboard
Log in with Discord, select your server and choose your log channel, review channel, admin roles and language.
Build your panels
Create one or more ticket panels, set the panel design and add ticket types with the support roles that should be pinged.
Publish and handle tickets
Run /setup-panel in Discord, let users open tickets, notify them when needed and close tickets with transcripts and reviews.
Quick documentation
The important stuff before you start.
Here is the short version of how the bot is used. You do not need to code anything or create your own Discord application.
1. Required permissions
To add and configure the bot, your Discord account should be server owner or have permission to manage the server. The bot itself needs access to create channels, send messages, manage permissions and attach transcript files.
2. Basic server setup
Create or choose a panel channel, a ticket category, a private log/transcript channel and a public review channel. Then select those channels in the dashboard.
3. Ticket panels
A panel is the message users click to open tickets. You can have one simple support panel or multiple panels for different departments like reports, applications or ban appeals.
4. Ticket types and roles
Ticket types are the choices inside a panel. Each ticket type can ping a different support role, so the right team gets notified immediately.
5. Closing tickets
When a ticket is closed, the bot creates a transcript, logs the close event and sends the user a DM with feedback options. The ticket channel can then be deleted automatically.
6. Useful commands
Use /setup-panel to publish ticket panels, /reload-config to reload settings, /ticket-stats for basic stats and /ticket-autoclose to enable, disable or check auto-close inside a ticket.
FAQ
Questions people usually ask first.
Do I need to host the bot myself?
No. You invite the public bot to your server and configure everything through the dashboard. You do not need your own developer application.
Can every server have its own setup?
Yes. Each Discord server has separate settings, panels, ticket types, roles, channels, language and auto-close configuration.
Are ticket conversations public?
No. Ticket channels are private between the ticket creator and the configured team roles. Transcripts go to your internal log channel, not to the public review channel.
What happens after a ticket is closed?
The bot creates a transcript, logs the ticket, sends the user a DM and asks for a 1–5 star review with an optional comment.
Can I disable auto-close for a ticket?
Yes. Staff can use the auto-close button inside the ticket or the /ticket-autoclose command when a case needs more time.
Can I use only one ticket category?
Yes. If you only need one support option, the bot shows a simple button instead of forcing users through a dropdown.
Can I customize the panel design?
Yes. The dashboard lets you edit the panel title, description, color, footer and ticket types. A live preview shows how it will look.
Which languages are supported?
The dashboard and bot flow support English and German. The website remembers your selected language in your browser.
